Buyer's Stamp Duty (BSD) / Additional Buyer's Stamp Duty (ABSD)
There are 3 kinds of stamp duties payable on the taking over, buying or selling of residential properties in Singapore:
- Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD)
- Additional Buyer’s Stamp Duty (ABSD)
- Seller’s Stamp Duty (SSD)
Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD) is required to pay on the buying and taking over possession of any properties type in Singapore. There are different BSD rates in residential properties depending on the profile of the purchaser.
